Minerva Insurance announces the renewal of its exclusive sponsorship of the road safety campaign “Youth For Road Safety”, reaffirming for the fifth consecutive year its strong commitment to prevention and education, with the aim of reducing road traffic accidents in Cyprus.
The campaign is a volunteer-driven initiative by the organized motorcycle club Star Club Cyprus Chapter 1999, implemented in collaboration with the Traffic Department of the Cyprus Police, under the auspices of the Holy Metropolis of Tamasos and Orinis, and with the support of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works. Through these collaborations, the campaign has successfully contributed to the creation of a safer road community.
As part of its continuous development, the campaign is further enhanced this year with new, modern learning tools. In addition to the driving simulator and training under real conditions on a specially designed track, the training now includes simulation goggles that realistically demonstrate the effects of alcohol, drugs and other substances on a driver’s perception and reaction time.
Through this experiential approach, participants are able to clearly understand how dangerous driving under the influence can become, strengthening responsible driving behavior.
With a long-standing presence and active social contribution in Cyprus, Minerva Insurance continues to invest in initiatives that meaningfully contribute to a safer road environment, demonstrating that prevention and education can save lives.
