As part of its long-standing commitment to social responsibility and support for vulnerable groups, Minerva Insurance actively participated in a recent charitable initiative organized by the Star Club Cyprus Chapter 1999, aimed at collecting food supplies for the Central Social Solidarity Service of Tamasos (K.Y.K.A.T.).

The initiative took place between May 12 and June 4, 2025, with specially designated collection boxes placed at Minerva Insurance offices in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, and Paphos. Staff members and partners across Cyprus embraced the initiative with enthusiasm and generosity, collecting a significant amount of food such as pasta, rice, legumes, canned goods, and other essential items. A special mention goes to the Polis Chrysochous office, which made a notable contribution by collaborating with a local informal group of motorcyclists, further enhancing the impact of the drive.

All collected items were handed over to the Star Club Cyprus Chapter 1999, which, in cooperation with K.Y.K.A.T., transported the food to the organization’s storage facilities. The distribution to families and individuals in need will take place at a later stage, depending on emerging needs. The entire event was dedicated to the memory of the Club's Vice President, George Platis. This support is especially meaningful, as the service’s reserves were limited following the Easter season.
