Mitsero Village meeting

As part of the #YouthForRoadSafety, the team visited the community of Mitsero Village following an invitation from the Mitsero Youth Center. In a meeting that brought together young people from Mitsero and Agrokipia village, the program was presented, followed by a productive dialogue on road safety and the everyday challenges young people face on the road.
The active participation and genuine interest of those present confirmed the importance of prevention and proper awareness. Following the discussion, it was agreed that the community would join the program for the upcoming year, further strengthening the Youth Center’s commitment to protecting and empowering young people.

The meeting focused on the Highway Code and the importance of complying with it, aiming to promote proper driving behavior and prevent road accidents. Through interactive questions and active participation, the young attendees showed great interest and engagement.

During the event, two gift vouchers for the purchase of protective gear were raffled, while the Police's Traffic Department provided reflective strips, which will be distributed to the participating youth. This is yet another important initiative that strengthens the cooperation between local institutions and organized volunteers for a common goal: the safety of our youth on the road.
